Go Bananas!

We participated at the Death March (Dodentocht) to raise money for Go Bananas.

Our challenge was not simple! Walk a 100km (60 miles) in 24 hours. For every kilometer we walked, our sponsors paid us an amount of €'s. Some sponsors chose to transfer a fixed amount to our account.

Our Dodentocht took place on the 08-08-08!




We started at 21h on fridaynight. Saturday Tonia arrived at the finish at 17h15 and Bert at 17h47. Both tired, almost exhausted, but glad we made it to the finish and so happy we raised a nice amount of money!

We made it to the finish! 100km in less than 24 hours! It was incredibly tough, but we crossed the finishline! We both are recovering now. Sore muscles, blisters and still tired, but satisfied :-) Here is an overview of our results :
